The sight of the black New Zealand jersey might evoke irritation, and perhaps even fear amongst the Pakistani fans now. For the last three months, they’ve seen their side lose in different shapes and manners to the Blackcaps. They beat Pakistan at home, they beat Pakistan away. They beat them while batting first, they beat them while batting second. They thrashed them with a full strength side, and now they’ve thrashed them with their gen next. All in all, tells the story of two nations going through two very different cricketing trajectories. Pakistan have one more ODI to endure, or hopefully to salvage some pride for themselves. Michael Bracewell: The way we fought through the innings was great. We started well, but lost a few wickets and then they way Mitch batted was brilliant. We had a photo of the team before the game and we looked through how many matches they have played. It is a testament to the team, we just allow them to express themselves. There is no secret for what allows the new players to come in and perform straightaway. The domestic setup is amazing, allows us to express ourselves Internationally. It has been a great summer and we have played some great cricket. We don't want to sell ourselves short now and want to keep doing the simple things well, end on a high. (On Ben Sears) He's done exceptionally, he's put in a lot of work off the field to get himself ready. He's suffered a lot of injuries in his short career but glad to see him get the rewards for his hard work today.

Mohammad Rizwan: (On his shoulder) It is sore but it part of the game. (On match) We didn't do well, we didn't utilise the swing and they bowled very well. Later on, Faheem and Naseem fought well for us. These are challenging conditions for us, but we can't make excuses. We are professional cricketers and we need to do something different. The bowlers of New Zealand were very disciplined, they bowled the hard lengths. In the last couple of months, we lost the key moments. Today, we didn't do well with the ball and bat in the first 10 overs. Credit to Mitch Hay as well, the way he batted was amazing. We don't know much about the pitch in Tauranga, we will go there and assess the conditions.

We thought we could do a little bit of damage if we got to the death period. Mo batted really nicely. It was nice to form a partnership with him and take it deep. It's been cool to play these three games, definitely gives you confidence. Pretty happy with the keeping, the bowlers were awesome again tonight, it's a pleasure to keep to. They make the job pretty easy for me.

18:55 Local Time, 05:55 GMT, 11:25 IST: This game took a lot longer to finish than expected, as Pakistan's tailenders stretched out the night. With the new ball, New Zealand were superb as the top three nicked off, with Jacob Duffy getting a couple of wickets. Will O'Rourke was lethal with his body line bowling, as Rizwan copped a few blows to his elbow and arm in his short stint. O'Rourke and Duffy kept things tight, and then Ben Sears reaped the rewards as he dismissed Salman Agha and Rizwan in his first over. Faheem Ashraf provided some fight for the visitors, as he waged on with a gritty half century. Later, he was joined by Naseem Shah who himself came in as a concussion substitute for Haris Rauf, and the young pacer had some fun with no real scoreboard pressure. Naseem Shah struck four fours and four sixes as he got to a fifty, delaying the inevitable defeat. Stick around for the presentations now.
