That's it for the action for the night. We will be back with more soon. Till then enjoy and take care. Don't forget to sleep tight. See you soon.
Ottniel Baartman | Player of the Match: The seamers set the tone upfront. Luckily I got a wicket first ball and enjoying it. It made my job easier from the get-go. Probably both, a wicket for the seamers and it was a perfect pitch for Test cricket. Nice bunch of lads we have.?
Aiden Markram | SEC captain: Did not wake up expecting a game like that but as a winning side you take that. We did bowl well, one of those nights when everything took the edge and everything went to hand. PE is known for slightly lower and slower conditions, but if you get steep bounce then it's tough. The guys put it in the right areas and used the conditions well. Great for the changeroom and quick turnaround playing in Pretoria in 2 days' time which will pose challenges but great to win 3 in a row.
Wayne Parnell | PC captain: Don't know where to start. The other day you said if you lose 4 wickets in the powerplay, the percentage of winning is just 40%, today that went down to 20%. Probably everything, it was seaming laterally and doing everything. They bowled in the right areas, honestly I don't know where to pinpoint. That was the chat with myself and Kyle Verreynne in the first timeout to get to 100 but it wasn't to be. Now we have to reset. To be bowled out for 40-odd is never ideal and you are never winning that bowling 2nd. I haven't seen many games where both teams get low totals, maybe if we got a hat-trick in the first over, it could have got nervy.
19:34 Local Time, 17:34 GMT, 23:04 IST: What a thrashing this is. SEC win by a bonus point and ramp up their NRR too. Once they skittled their opponents out for 52, it was an easy chase. Malan fell early but Hermann and Abell finished it off with no fuss. All the damage was done with the ball in the first innings and a super early finish followed in the chase. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation...
Dupavillon to Hermann, FOUR, that's it. The game's done. Full and angling away from outside off, Hermann drives and it's a thick outside-edge through backward point and runs away
Dupavillon to Hermann, no run, good length outside off, Hermann punches to point
Dupavillon to Hermann, no run, was there an edge on that? Philip Salt drops it. Full outside off, Hermann drives and if there was an outside-edge then will go down as a drop but nothing on UltraEdge
Dupavillon to Abell, 1 run, back of a length on off and middle, turned to deep backward square leg
Dupavillon to Abell, FOUR, no gully and four. Was an easy catch if there was one, full outside off, Abell drives and the thick outside-edge flies away, beats third man's dive
Parnell to Abell, 1 run, back of a length on off, run-down to third man
Parnell to Abell, SIX, that has come out of nowhere, short of length just outside off, Abell pulls from the crease and it's over deep mid-wicket
Parnell to Abell, FOUR, beautiful shot. A half-volley outside off, Abell leans forward and caresses the drive wide of cover. Lovely stuff
Parnell to Abell, no run, good length and just outside off, keeps low too, Abell pushes and is beaten
Parnell to Abell, no run, good length on middle, pushed to cover
Parnell to Abell, no run, now Parnell with a peach. On a short of length and decks away from middle, Abell is beaten on the back foot block
Wayne Parnell [1.0-0-8-1] is back into the attack
Dupavillon to Hermann, no run, superb delivery, length delivery angling away from middle and leg, Hermann looks to defend and is beaten by the movement, not far from off-stump either
Dupavillon to Abell, 1 run, full and angling into the pads, flicked to deep mid-wicket
Dupavillon to Abell, no run, short of length and tight on off, Abell defends to cover
